Dive in Khao Lak with locals who truly know the Andaman Sea.

Local Dive Khaolak

Local Dive Khaolak was founded by “Natt,” a diver who grew up and lives in Khaolak, Phang Nga province, with the aim of providing a diving experience that is safe, friendly, and distinct from typical tourism. We believe that the best diving is not merely about taking people into the water, but about sharing stories, the beauty of nature, and the charm of the Andaman Sea with every diver.

With extensive experience in the diving industry, our team possesses deep knowledge of key dive sites along the Andaman coast—including the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock, as well as sites around Khao Lak. This expertise allows us to professionally select the ideal diving program for each day, tailored to weather conditions, experience levels, and our customers' specific preferences.

Dive Guide : Inst. Natt

My name is Nut. I started diving during university, studying fisheries science. After graduating, I returned to my hometown in Phang Nga province and worked at a dive shop near my home in Khao Lak in 2014. That was the beginning of my professional diving journey. I love diving here so much, whether it's the Similan Islands, the Surin Islands, or the Khao Lak dive sites. It has captivated me with the underwater world. It made me realize that my hometown still has such stunning beauty to showcase to international tourists. Personally, I enjoy macro diving, which is the challenge of finding tiny, colorful creatures underwater that look like Pokémon. But the most important thing in diving is that safety always comes first.

My name is Wara Sathorn, though most people simply call me "P'Chai" (Big Brother). I have been diving for over 10 years and currently work as a diving instructor. I enjoy teaching techniques that help divers improve their skills. My diving style focuses on taking you to explore the beautiful underwater world—and ensuring a happy, safe return to the surface. Come dive with us—we are local divers who truly know the area.

Dive Guide : Inst. Best

My name is Best. I started diving in 2019 and became a professional that same year; my journey began because my village is a marine tourism destination. During every dive, I prioritize student safety and coral reef conservation equally. I enjoy teaching and sharing techniques that students can practically apply to their future dives.

Why choose LDK?
I think it really suits people who want to dive at specific locations, as you can pick dates that align with the sites you're interested in. Even if you're short on time, you can still dive at the spots you want—making it ideal for working professionals with limited time off who still want to get some diving in. Spending a relaxing day on the boat surrounded by schools of fish—that sounds pretty great, doesn't it?

Dive Guide : Inst. Ya

Dive Guide : Inst. Ya

Ya has been interested in diving since childhood, influenced by a father who served in the Navy, and began a professional diving career in 2008. What sparked the love for diving? It started simply out of curiosity—an urge to try it out—which evolved into genuine enjoyment from witnessing sights never seen before. It is an activity that never grows tedious, no matter how often it is repeated. The focus is on sightseeing and a relaxed, fun experience; by letting go of the pressure to hunt for specific large marine animals, one can truly enjoy the dive in comfort and ease.
