Overview

Large granite rock formations, canyons, and swim-throughs. Elephant Head Rock is one of the most famous and unique dive sites in the Similan Islands. Located in the open sea near Island 8, the large rock protruding from the water resembles an elephant's head. Beneath the surface is a world of massive granite rocks, forming cliffs, canyons, tunnels, and arches for divers to continuously explore. The highlight of Elephant Head Rock is its magnificent landscape and swimming through the large rocks. However, because it is in the open sea, the currents can change and can be quite strong at times, so it is suitable for experienced divers.
